KA:V Editions

Formerly known as KA:V Studio, founded in 2008 by Tarlan Rafiee and Yashar Samimi Mofakham, Iranian artists/curators, as a leading printmaking studio in response to a demand from prominent artists.

In 2011, KA:V Editions announced itself as a contemporary art publisher and producer of limited editions and multiples and since then it has worked with some of the most important middle-eastern modern and contemporary masters such as Parviz Tanavoli and Farideh Lashai to publish original limited editions either as single individual prints or a series of works.

The artists we collaborate with are invited to create a project and aided to develop their ideas in the form of a series or portfolio of prints. Many of our artists have previously had little or no exposure to printmaking.

KA:V Editions has placed its projects with major museums and collections around the world.
